As the year end charts roll in, CutMore Records and Trippin N’ Rhythm recording artists Tim Bowman and Nicholas Cole were big winners on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Year End Charts for 2013. Tim’s fantastic single “Seaside Drive” was named Billboard Smooth Jazz Song of the Year, and he also placed as the #6 Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year, a huge accomplishment given he only released one single to the format this year. Tim also had the #5 Single of the Year with the Smooth Jazz Network. Nicholas ended 2013 as the #8 Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year, and also had the #30 Billboard Smooth Jazz Single of the Year with “Please Don’t Say No,” his sublime single featuring none other than Tim Bowman. Tim has now enjoyed three number one singles in the Smooth Jazz format, and has a well-deserved reputation as a favorite of radio programmers here and abroad. Nicholas has enjoyed three Top 10 singles off his debut CD for CutMore Records, including his current Top 5 single “Snap.” With his outside production work for the likes of Steve Cole and Brian Simpson, Nicholas is becoming one of the top Producers in the format. We congratulate Les Cutmore for the many chart successes his fine stable of artists achieved in 2013. There can be no doubt Tippin N’ Rhythm Records and CutMore Records are the top Smooth Jazz labels in the entire Record Industry.
