David Kunert
FGP was founded by David Kunert after his own successful singing and songwriting career, credited with national airplay and concert appearances throughout the US and Europe. As a published ASCAP songwriter/publisher, Kunert’s songs have been covered by both major label and independent artists. His music background has gained him a reputation for “speaking the creative language” to which artists can relate. Kunert’s invaluable experience, coupled with his previous record label roles as VP of Promotion and Director of National Promotion, serves as the backbone of FGP’s success.
We Build Relationships
Successful radio promotion revolves around the establishment and cultivation of relationships. Our rapport with station programmers throughout the country gives our clients an edge, as projects associated with the FGP name receive priority over music sent in from unknown sources. In a climate where the quantity of music received by stations far exceeds the number of new airplay slots, this benefit is paramount. Additionally, station Program & Music Directors are comfortable and willing to take the time to provide us with constructive feedback, which in turn allows our clients to make informed and strategic decisions.
The relationships we foster with our artists are equally important. Known for our responsiveness and for going the extra mile, we limit the number of projects we take on to provide our artists with the personal attention they deserve. We are in constant contact with stations on our artists’ behalf and provide weekly reports, including details on stations adds, spins and comments. We also believe in investing the time to understand our client’s goals so that we can provide targeted support and guidance, which ultimately leads to success.
